The Senior Adults at First Baptist are an active group who enjoy opportunities for study, worship, fellowship, and outreach.  Many seniors are involved in weekly activities that include Bible study, choir, Sunday School, and service to the community.  Fellowship and learning opportunities include: lunch and learns, day trips to the theater, and overnight adventures.

The Senior Adult Ministry Team plans the special activities for the group.  Spiritual growth and opportunities for service and fellowship help our seniors stay active and involved in the life of First Baptist.  A monthly newsletter keeps the seniors up to date on needs of the church and what activities are planned.  Below is a list of just some of the opportunities for our Senior Adults:

  • Lunch and Learn
  • Day Trips-plays, local attractions
  • Overnight adventures
  • Conferences
  • Bible Studies
  • Sunday School
  • Visits to the homebound of the congregation
  • Volunteering with community outreach through the church
