Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
July 22 - 26
We know being a parent is one of the hardest jobs on the planet, but it’s also the greatest thing you will ever do. We know your job isn’t always easy, but here’s what we want you to know: we’re here to help in any way we can. We may be a children’s ministry, but that doesn’t mean kids are the only people we care about. We care about you too! No matter how connected (or not connected) you are with our church, this First Baptist Children’s Ministry will show you some of the ways we’re trying to care for your kid and serve you at the same time. Thanks for letting us be another voice in the life of your child. Your trust and partnership means a lot to us.
Kids Discipleship schedule
9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
We have children's Sunday School classes for birth through 5th grade. Following Sunday School, children are dismissed to the worship service. Children's Sunday School follows the Explore the Bible curriculum in grades 1-2 and Bible Studies for Life curriculum in grades 3-5.
10:55 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Children, age 4 through 6th grade, come forward for "Words for Children" about half-way through the worship service. Four year-olds through 1st grade are then dismissed to Children's Church. The others return to their seats. Parents pick up their child(ren) after worship in the Children's Library, Room 205-B.
Kids music begins at 5:45. Click here to see the details. At 6:30, all the kids transition to Main Street Kids for an hour of games, worship, Bible study, and age-appropriate small group time. It's a hit every week! Click below for more information on Main Street Kids.
